OceanMet’s oceanographic buoys net allowed for the real time monitoring of the pass of “Amelie” storm through the north and northwest of the Iberian Peninsula.

Last September, some members or the Oceanmet Project assisted to OceanObs19, an international conference that gathers professionals from the ocean observing and monitoring field every 10 years.

During the last months, the team of OceanMet has started the installation of the net of monitoring.

Part of the team from OceanMet has recently visited Brazil and used the opportunity to promote the project and the processes used in it.
